The oldest house in the Kisalföld (Lesser Plain) is located under Fő (Main) Street 67. The house was built in the 2nd half of the 18th century. To commemorate the 800 years since the establishment of the village, locals had the building renovated and a historically furnished house was created in Tóköz style in the living quarters.

Chateau Földváry kastélyszálloda

The castle building dates back to the 19th century. Miklós Földváry, one of Öttevény’s wealthiest landowners had it built for his wife in 1870. Today it operates as a castle hotel under the name Chateau Földváry.

Rábcakap Lutheran Church

The village built the church from mud in 1719. In 1720, they purchased a bell. In 1889 the congregation decided to renovate the church, whichwas in serious disrepair by that time, and they finished work on it the same year. New windows were installed, the roof was reconstructed along with the whole interior of the church. They built an organ and even added a tower to the church. This is how the church that to this day remains the spiritual home of the Rábcakap congregation was constructed.

Öttevény Lutheran Church

The church was consecrated on August 25, 1929, by Bishop Béla Kapi with attendance of many church officials.

Memorial of the 800 year anniversary

A memorial stone was set on Main Street to commemorate 800 years since the village was founded. Engraved in the stone is the village coat of arms and the location of it within the borders of current Hungary as well as the former Kingdom of Hungary. The memorial reads: 'steadfastly' and Terra Capi 1209-800-2009.

Belfry

The belfry built in honor of the 1956 revolution was opened on October 21, 2006.

Funeral Chapel

Hungary, 9142 Rábapatona István utca

The foundation of the chapel was laid in 1855. It was built in two years with donations from the congregation and the parish priest Ignác Nagy. The 160-year-old chapel was last renovated in 2008.

Somorja Reformed Church

One of the oldest and most beautiful Gothic churches in the Csallóköz. Near the church, foundations of charnels from the 12-13th were excavated.
