The village built the church from mud in 1719. In 1720, they purchased a bell. In 1889 the congregation decided to renovate the church, whichwas in serious disrepair by that time, and they finished work on it the same year. New windows were installed, the roof was reconstructed along with the whole interior of the church. They built an organ and even added a tower to the church. This is how the church that to this day remains the spiritual home of the Rábcakap congregation was constructed.
