When visiting the factory, visitors will get a peek into the manufacturing processes behind the press, the autobody, and engines. With the help of those who work here, visitors can become acquainted with the world’s largest engine manufacturing plant which is also one of the most modern vehicle factories globally. The programs are available several times a day in Hungarian, German and English from Monday to Friday. You must register ahead of time to participate. All the visitor areas are accessible to visitors with reduced mobility. They offer general factory visits such as viewing the engine manufacturing plant. Thematic visits include a tour that offers insight into logistics at Audi and the production system, tools, and methods.

Firefighters Museum

The Firefighters’ Museum was opened in 1995 to commemorate the 115th anniversary of the establishment of the Mosonmagyaróvár Fire Brigade. The exhibition gives us a full picture of the development and change to firefighting equipment over time. The tour of the museum is guided by firefighters.

Mosonvármegye (Moson County) Museum

The collection of the Moson County Association for History and Archeology was first located in the grand room of the Town Hall. In 1887 it was moved to a room on the ground floor of the County Hall, however, after the construction of the new County Hall, the exhibition was moved to large, ornamented room on the second floor. As the collection grew, the available rooms became too small. In a 1904 decision, the County of Moson stated that a separate building must be constructed for the museum. The architect Béla Hőnel designed the building in the historicist style of the age. Construction was finished in 1912 placing the building among Hungary's oldest standing museums,
Habsburg Crypt

The Archduke Friedrich Habsburg, general field marshall and supreme commander of the Monarchy's armies settled down in his Mosonmagyaróvár manor in 1920 becoming the first of the city's bourgeoisie. He was greatly respected in the city was invited to all social events. The town's most beautiful Baroque monument is the Saint Gotthard parish church located in the historical downtown. The crypts under the church were offered to the Habsburg family by the town. This is the final resting place of Archduke Friedrich Habsburg and his wife Princess Isabella of Croy. Their double-walled metal coffins can be found in the two chambers at either side of the crypt on red marble catafalques.

The largest scientific playhouse in Hungary is located in a 300-year-old granary. A building with monument status constructed in the 18th century. A part of the Futura Granary exhibition showcases the areas of Mosonmagyaróvár, the Szigetköz, and the Danube's different regions, the other represents the sciences, specifically the four elements of water, earth, air, and fire. The center was awarded the grant for Ecotourism Establishment of the Year. At the center, everyone is sure to find the program that interests them. Visitors can become acquainted with the forces of nature up close and personal, test their own abilities and try their courage. The four levels of the building each feature an element of nature through which they present the physical and natural laws at play in the wildlife of the Szigetköz region.
