The beach is a popular spot in Mosonmagyaróvár during the summer. The wide variety of services offered means that there really is something here for everyone. A concession stand, a sand volleyball court, a playground, the shoreline with its carefully tended lawn, showers and dressing rooms and convenient parking. The shoreline is 120 m long with pebbled ground under the water, however, the shore itself is grassy and sandy.

Thermalpark Dunaszerdahely

The establishment is among southern Slovakia's most popular and most visited resorts. The 18-hectare complex includes 10 outdoor and indoor pools, of these 3 are healing and thermal waters enriched with minerals. The thermal water comes from 1600 meters deep and is 57 degrees on the surface. The wellness pool has gargoyles, water cannons, a cave waterfall, massage beds, and a jacuzzi. People of all ages are sure to have a good time here. The water of the covered round pool (Rotunda) is high in mineral content and also has an outdoor section. Apart from the wellness pool, there is a smaller covered pool as well, and they also have a children's pool for the little ones.

Pannonhalma Benedictine Archabbey

The archabbey is a part of World Heritage and has been spreading the motto of Saint Benedict, the order's founder: 'Ora et Labora,' that is, pray and work, since its establishment. The construction of the Benedictine monastery in honor of Saint Martin by Grand Prince Géza in 996 is a significant event in Hungarian and European history and culture. Many Hungarian and foreign rulers visited the building and the monastery converted into a castle came under siege by the Tatars and well as the Turkish several times. The structures of the monastery hold messages from the different ages, the complex provides a sense of unity in diversity. The artifacts and rich cultural heritage found here have a special kind of beauty due to the fact that the community of monks residing here still use them according to their original purposes. The Archabbey, a part of world heritage, has been spreading the motto of the order's founder, Saint Benedict: 'Ora et Labor,' that is, ‘pray and work’ ever since. Apart from bathing, the establishment offers a wide variety of sports activities for children and adults alike with animators seeing to the entertainment of the youngest guests. The thermal bath was opened in 1974 with two healing springs with temperatures of 57-68°C. The medicinal waters are mainly beneficial for those who have musculoskeletal issues and can help with the healing and restoration of the body.
