When we travel, there is one important thing we are all curious about apart from the sights: the local food and drink offerings. Many of us like to taste these because, as they say, each meal is an adventure. We highly recommend that you partake of the regional Szigetköz dishes, try local products and refreshments. Have a mid morning snack at Lipóti Bakery, eat lunch at a traditional restaurant in Felső-Szigetköz, enjoy a cold beer in the afternoon (pace yourself!) and/or have a coffee and try the vinegar fish in Győr. Enjoy your meal!

If you would like to take some time away from the rat race of everyday life and just BE, then this tour is for you. Rousseau's idea of “back to nature” is something that appeals to modern man who wishes to get away from the overwhelming hustle and bustle of everyday life to the quiet unequivocal order of nature. In Japan, Shinrin-yoku or forest bathing very popular, an activity where participants go for long 2-2,5 hour walks in the woods, as if essnetially “bathing” in nature. Why don’t you dive in, too? Enjoy some nature therapy on two wheels in the Csallóköz and Szigetköz.

This pilgrimage includes sights such as the Benedictine Abbey of Pannonhalma, downtown Győr, then from Lébény, we head for Mosonmagyaróvár and Rajka, then it is on to Slovakia and Austria. In Wolfsthal we will join the official pilgrimage heading for Santiago de Compostela, the Camino de Santiago.
