As a young child (and let us be honest, even as an adult), many of us were amazed and attracted by the mysterious world of South American and African rainforests and jungles, the wild cats, the colourful birds, and the countless monkey species. The floodplain park forests along the Danube are the Central European counterparts of the tropical forests.
