Esterházy Palace

"One of downtown Győr’s most beautiful buildings, the Esterházy Palace has been home to the renowned Radnai Collection since November 3, 1997. Flóris Rómer Museum of Art and History

The museum was founded in 1859, its establishment was initiated by the Benedictine monk from Győr, Flóris Rómer. Lachmann trade sign

The Lachmann family dealt mainly in the production and sale of small-series men's clothing. The trade sign, depicting a pair a scissors hangs above their oldest shop and indicates that the tailoring service still operates today as it has for over 100 years.
