Rosarium

A rose garden in a small town in the Netherlands provided the idea for creating a similar sight in Máriakálnok. Instead of the originally planned twenty flower beds, sixty were planted. Each bed contains a variety of roses including park roses, teas roses, and ramblers, among them some rare species as well. Plaques help out the visitors so that they know which type of rose they are looking at. Apart from the flower beds, the park has walking paths, garden structures, and pergolas, as well as ten meters covered spectacularly in rambling roses.

Szigetköz Museum and Historically Furnished House

The Village Museum and the Szigetköz Museum can be found near the chapel. Here visitors can become acquainted with ethnographic artifacts of the municipality, the objects used by people living in the Szigetköz centuries ago and their way of life.
