GreenEx base in Győr

One of the most popular tourist attractions of Győr is the deservedly famous János Xantus Zoo. The Zoo shows more than 500 animals of 100 species in large enclosures in conditions similar to their own original habitats. The visitors can see jaguars, giant anteaters, llamas, kangaroos, ring-tailed lemurs, rhinos, flamingos and green iguanas here. The Zoo shows, guinea pig trains, and feeding shows also entertain the whole family. The tiny exhibition houses the treasures of the local boatmen’s dynasties and other memorabilia related to fishing. In addition to the boating equipment, awards, uniforms, and plastic models, there is also an interactive prow in the exhibition space where the bell can be sounded, and super selfies can be made. In addition to the boatmen, the exhibition also commemorates the fishermen of Gönyű. Barge, trammel net, fish-weir, lifting net, and shovels are also exhibited in the small room.

Not far from the exhibition room, a boat-shaped playground awaits the little ones. The Danube Panorama Educational Trail impresses the younger and older members of the family with a beautiful view and interactive games.
