Do you like animals? Then pay attention! We have gathered various options for you, where you can meet furry, feathered, finned, domestic and exotic animals, and in many cases up close. Would you like to walk an alpaca? Would you like to know how the residents of the zoo are fed? Would you like to watch a horse-theatre production? You can do all this and much more if you choose this tour.
The farm, in its current form, has been welcoming its animal-loving visitors from the summer of 2011. Walking around the Dodó Wildlife Farm, you can get to know the wild species, as well as the domestic and hobby animals of our country. The deer, sheep, mouflon, wild boar and birds that live here are mostly raised by our farm, such as Dodo, the stag the farm was named after. You can meet them up close, and even feed and stroke them.
One of the most popular tourist attractions of Győr, the deservedly famous János Xantus Zoo, shows more than 500 animals of 100 species in large enclosures in conditions similar to their original habitats. Visitors can see jaguars, giant anteaters, llamas, kangaroos, ring-tailed lemurs, rhinos, flamingos, and green iguanas here. The Zoo shows, guinea pig train, and the feeding shows are also entertaining. In addition to showing animals, the Zoo is a venue for other cultural and sports events. Visit their website for the interesting programmes.
The production of the Győr Equestrian Theatre is a spectacular show enriched with tricks, where in addition to the theatrical and musical experience, the spectacle and the horses play the main role. Szilárd Tóth founded the theatre in 2019 with more than 20 years of equestrian history, many years of experience in training horses, as well as his tricky rides with equestrian acrobatics and stunt elements, which have already been successful at the Gallop of Kisalföld. The equestrian theatre show is a new highlight of the cultural life of Győr and the region.
At weekends, at pre-arranged times and dates, you can stroke and even walk through many sweet alpacas. This is your chance to meet the South American camelid known for the extraordinary fineness of its wool. Take pictures, eat, and spend 1.5 hours with them outdoors!
You can dive into the world of our great-grandmothers’ childhood if you visit the thatched-roof house with built in 1909, which has been renovated to restore its original condition and furnished with original furniture. The animals live at the end of the spacious courtyard. Domestic animals. As in the time of our great-grandmothers. Horses, sheep, rabbits, and hens, lots and lots of hens. You can feed and stroke them, do not miss it!
The Malkia Park, located near Dunajská Streda, which serves as a wildlife refuge, offers great fun for all age-groups. Visit this park and make friends with its special animals! The Malkia Park opened its doors in 2016 and was named after its first rescued wildcat, Malkia. Malkia means queen in Swahili, and the zoo’s caretakers do their best to provide a truly royal life to the previously long-suffering animals that live here.
Many felines (lions, tigers, leopards, jaguars, lynxes, cougars, cheetahs) have found their new home here. You can also see gibbons, lemurs, parrots, or turtles up close. Hoofed animals (zebras, camels, donkeys, sheep, goats, llamas) and waterfowl (geese, ducks, swans) are also represented in large numbers.
A children’s playground, a guest house, and a bistro operate next to the Park.

During our tour, we will be accompanied by fellow travelers such as healing waters, green wizards and flower doctors, all of “whom” we recommend you use in your everyday life.
