Győr belvárosából indulva, a kenukkal történő könnyed ismerkedést követően elindulunk a Mosoni Dunán folyásnak megfelelő irányban. Elhaladunk a Rába torkolatánál, a Kossuth és Széchényi híd alatt, majd szép lassan magunk mögött hagyjuk a várost (vízről látszólag) . Csak látszólag mivel egészen a jóval távolabbi, legújabb Mosoni Duna hídat követően, a Klatsmányit követően hagyjuk csak el Győr közigazgatási területét. Ezt követően hamarosan megérkezünk a folyó utolsó településéhez, Vénekhez, ahol lehetőségünk nyílik egyet szusszanni kellemes környezetben, mielőtt keresztül vágunk a Győr- Gönyű országos közforgalmú kikötőn, melyből ezzel együtt összesen három található Magyarországon. Ezt követően rövid, és gyors dunai szakaszon elérjük Gönyű központját a strandot, és a látogatóközpontot, ahol kényelmesen és biztonságosan tudunk kikötni és befejezni vízi utazásunkat.
