A rose garden in a small town in the Netherlands provided the idea for creating a similar sight in Máriakálnok. Instead of the originally planned twenty flower beds, sixty were planted. Each bed contains a variety of roses including park roses, teas roses, and ramblers, among them some rare species as well. Plaques help out the visitors so that they know which type of rose they are looking at. Apart from the flower beds, the park has walking paths, garden structures, and pergolas, as well as ten meters covered spectacularly in rambling roses.

The double cross was put in place in the park on Kerekes Square to honor one-thousand years of the Hungarian state.

Lavender Barefoot Park

That’s right, you must take off your shoes and socks to walk through the Barefoot Lavender Park. This is beneficial to the health of the visitor. You can walk along paths with different coverings in order to freshen circulation and improve the sensory abilities of the bottom of your feet.

Tündérsziget Ecopark

A nomad campground by the free beach on the Danube. It includes an herb garden. In the springtime, a willow chapel is built in the park which functions as a sort of natural place of worship. Masses are held here, but anyone can go into the chapel to meditate and take some time to rest close to nature.

Church of Saint Peter and Saint Paul

The classicist style church was built in 1848. Its pulpit is also of classicist style, the crucifix is Baroque, the baptismal font was made in 1971. A flood damaged it in 1876 and thus, it needed to have its walls rebuilt. The church received an organ in 1906.

Bisinger Promenade

In 1956 the crowd gathered by what is today the Trianon Memorial and they knocked the red star off the huge Soviet memorial that stood there at the time.

Batthyány Square

Káloczy Square

Kalóczy Square in Révfalu was turned into a park after World War I. The memorial of the 11th Imperial and Royal Infantry complete with a rose garden was established here with pine trees in the background.

The Church of Our Lady of the Snows

In centuries past (1600) Dunaszeg had already had a church. According to tax records from 1658, the church was destroyed this year. In 1720, the Baroness Terézia Viczay commissioned a church to be built in its place. It was originally constructed in Baroque style but has been somewhat remodeled since. In his book, 'Monuments and Memorials in Hungary' István Genthon writes in the chapter on the monuments of Transdanubia: ''a Roman Catholic church with a tower preceding the facade and a sanctum enclosed by three sides of the octagon. A three-arched nave and sanctum. Baroque main altar and pulpit. Built in 1720.''
