We show a couple of old professions that are hardly practiced by anyone in the area now, or have already become extinct, even though they provided livelihood to many people in the age of our great-grandparents and great-great-grandparents. The Little Danube forms the northern border of the Rye Island and has provided the local people with high-quality water and food throughout history. Today, fishing is banned almost in the entire river as it is part of an important environmental zone. Nowadays, it is used mainly by enthusiasts of water sports, using a boat, kayak, canoe, or even raft. The tour we offer is longer than the usual routes, as we row almost along the entire Little Danube during the water tour. Three days, nearly 80 km, in the wonderful nature.
