A 4-day water tour from Óvár to Gyõr
13:00:07 - Könnyű - Vízitúra
Tired of walking and not too enthusiastic about biking either? Join us and row along the Moson-Danube. The Danube, a river dividing into thousands of distributaries, slows down at Szigetköz, its stream becoming calmer, and this makes it an ideal place for an excursion for all ages. This tour can be completed easily, even by beginners, if there is an experienced tour guide present, but those who love a challenge will not be disappointed either. The wonderful world of water awaits you. Dive in!
In vino veritas – Row of cellars
01:11:29 - Medium - Walking tour
One of the oldest wine regions of Hungary, dynamically developing wineries, quality wine production, beautiful countryside that attracts the visitors, millennial culture and world heritage site, rows of cellars, tasty wines: this is the Pannonhalma wine region. Discover the wineries in the varied vineyards; taste the heavenly juices and discover the other sights of the area!
Though it is unusual, we have put together several mini tours for you within the tour, typically with two wineries ‘in the lead role’, so you can comfortably explore, on foot, the countryside and taste the fruit of the vineyards everywhere, over several days.
The list of wineries is only a short one. What else would you add, and what would be the theme of the new mini wine tour?
Strike a pose!
04:29:02 - Medium - Bicycle tour
Have you ever taken a selfie with a statue of a potato beetle or fountain made of soda water bottles? Pose with unique, interesting pieces of public artwork that give you a glimpse into the past. Seek out the Szigetköz commercial railways memorial built in memory of the largely forgotten local company, visit one of the former ports, and while your there taste grandmother’s fresh baked bread. And of course, do not forget to take lots of photos.
