We will ride through one of the most beautiful areas of the Sokoró region on our way from Győrszemere to Tényő.

Complicated patterns, rich ornamentation, monumentality, strong contrasts and dynamism, these are the main stylistic traits of the Baroque age. The city of Győr is almost synonymous with Baroque becoming the defining style of art during the Turkish occupation of Hungary, as it is considered to be one of the most important centers of the Baroque period. However, the style was popular in other towns and villages of the region too. Seek out these beautiful buildings and sculptures and experience the spirit of the Baroque period.

We start from the hills of Écs with their deep ravines and head toward the Bakony. During the course of this tour we will have plenty of opportunity to become acquainted with the towns and villages on our way and to enjoy the beautiful scenery.
