The square was fully renovated in 2015 and is an important central space of the city, it is the main venue for all large events held here. The Pulzus Statue, an unusual work of art, can also be found here.
Baross Road

On the city's walking street, under the address 18, there is a marble plaque and the red brick pavement upholds the memory of the Fehérvári Gate (1792) and the fire tower built above it once served to protect the city. The road cannot be crossed without already noticing the artwork known as the 'Boatman's statue' from afar. It was created by Iván Paulikovics in 1997.
Győrsövényház Roman Catholic Church

The church is dedicated to Saint John the Baptist. Reconstructed in 1750 with Rococo side-altars. Its Louis Seize style pulpit was built around 1780. The church organ was made in the Angster factory in 1913. It has two bells: the 90 cm diameter bell was made by the sons of Frigyes Steinhofer in 1924 and the 60 diameter one was molded by Ráfáel Szlezák in 1947.
Statue of the Virgin Mary

Commissioned by János Leiner 'out of a deep love for God and respect for the Blessed Virgin Mary.' Consecrated on June 22, 1890. Until the beginning of the 1970s, it stood in the place of the ABC on Petőfi Street. The congregation had it renovated in 2014.
Cemetery Chapel

Built by István Neuberger at the beginning of the 20th century. A memorial plaque on its wall honors town citizens who were victims of WWI and a portion of the townsfolk who lost their lives in WWII. The founder, who died in 1924 is buried by the chapel.
City Hall

Built in Neo-Baroque style, this is a U-shaped, two-story building with monument status. This building is one of Győr's most renowned pieces of real estate, it is the city's symbol. From its tower, the folk song starting with the lyrics 'the wind blows off the old Danube' can be heard every hour and the bells chime at 11 AM and 5 PM. On October 25, 1956, the revolutionary crowd removed the red star from the building's facade and the Győr Council was formed here the next day.

The Statue of Mary in Ikrény was erected to honor the memory of those fallen in World War I, it was restored by the Győr sculptor, Ferenc Lebó.
