The exhibition was established at the original site of the martyrdom of the beatified bishop Vilmos Apor and was renewed to commemorate the 70th anniversary of his heroic death. Apor was shot by a drunken Soviet soldier in 1945 on Good Friday as he was protecting the women and children hidden in the basement from the violent, invasive armed men. The exhibition provides insight not only into the age Apor lived in and his heroism, but passing through the arched walkways of the basement allows the visitor to experience the dark oppressive nature of the times from which the kind, cheerful nature of the Bishop Vilmos Apor, a man who dedicated his life to serving God, clearly shines through.

Mor the Blessed Lookout
The 18-meter high structure is located on the southernmost of the three hills of Pannonhalma. Near it is the Canopy Nature Trail opened in 2018.
Püspökvár (Bishop's Castle)
The Püspökvár (Bishop's Castle) in Győr's historical downtown, is located at the highest point of Káptalandomb (Chapter House Hill) where the Moson Danube and the river Rába meet. Apart from the basilica, it is Győr's most ancient and significant monument. This is where the bishops of Győr reside. South of the residential tower is the simple Baroque building complex of the Bishop's Palace. Above the main entrance is the driveway perched on top of classicist columns. The spectacular Baroque staircase was built in the second half of the 18th century based on plans by Menyhért Hefele. The winter suites have been furnished with valuable Baroque furniture, whilst the summer homes contain Empire and Biedermeier furnishings. The Palace's Gothic chapel (Dóczy Chapel) was built from 1481 to 1486 by Bishop Orbán Nagylucsey Dóczy. It was restored by the Bishop Ferenc Zichy and expanded to its current form.
Káptalandomb (Chapter House Hill)
The icon of the Weeping Virgin Mary, the Saint Laslo Herma and the memorial of the Beatified Vilmos Apor can be found in this early Baroque style church. Visitors can become acquainted with the history of both the Győr diocese and the city in general when viewing the exhibition at Káptalandomb and the top of Püspökvár offers a beautiful view everyone can enjoy.
