Arrabona EGTC

The Roman Catholic church bearing the name All Saints was built in 1752 in Baroque style. Today, on the exterior facade we see the statue of Mary and Saint John the Baptist. The sculptures of the main altar are beautiful pieces of artwork made in around 1750. The pulpit is also a valuable piece of artistic architecture. Plaques on the church walls honor the memories of the heroes and victims of the World Wars. The Baroque style Roman Catholic church was renovated in 2002, for its 250th anniversary.

Stone Cross

On the Széchenyi Hill in front of the church, there is a stone cross on a Calvary base with a statue on each side. The cross bears the number of the year 1791.

Thatch roofed houses from the 1800s

The formerly uniform village scape now shows much more diversity. Thatch-roofed brick houses with master beams have been replaced by much more modern dwellings. A beautiful example of folk architecture called the Tóközi Residential Home is located under the address Fő (Main) Street 11.

Statue of Mary

The statue of Mary was commissioned by Rozália Hegedűs, mother of Viktor Kovács, in 1902 to show her gratitude. On the hill in Bögöde where the Mary-statue stands today, there was once a round church.
