Fehértó Roman Catholic Church
The municipality's Roman Catholic Church was built in 1742. It is registered as a historical site/monument along with a statue of the Virgin Mary in its garden, which is also considered to be a monument. The church has a unique altar.
Pieta Statue
The Bögöde cemetery houses what is likely the country’s oldest Pieta statue. An unknown artist created the work in 1746 for the opening of the cemetery. Due to its presentation and composition, that is, its “naive realism,” this work is considered to be an art historical rarity with its depiction of Mary holding her son Jesus after he is taken off of the cross. The cemetery in Markota has been in use since 1681, the cross marking the graveyard has stood there since.
Stone Cross
Finished in 1830 in classicist style. It is considered to e a monument. The congregation had it renovated in 2014.
