The church was built in 1792 in late Baroque style. Its main facade is classicist in style and dates back to the first half of the 19th century.

The base of the lookout tower on the administrative border of Győrújbarát and Nyúl is a geodesic measurement tower built in 1977. The building is located on the 3rd highest elevation of the Sokoró Hills at 312,9 above sea level.

The stone and carved grave marker (kopjafa) commemorate Rákóczi's War of Independence. According to legend Rákóczi himself was here, but in reality, it was János Bottyán.
