The Baroque church with an area of 114 m2 was built in 1779. It burned down in 1869 but was reconstructed in its original style. Its main and side altars, pulpit and baptismal font were made in 1790 in Louis Seize style, these were salvaged from the original church. The church and its furnishings are valued as historical artifacts. Three crosses stand in front of the main entrance.

Created in 2000 in honor of the 10 years since the ‘brotherhood’ between the towns of Győrzámoly and Székelyszentkirály was established. The Szekely gate with its ornate carvings is the symbolic entrance of the church.

The newest hospitality establishment in Győrzámoly, Csuti Pizzeria and Confectionery offers guests a variety of Jager Kaffee coffees roasted nearby in Dunaszeg.
